With a Stiegemeier custom tune you are assured of maximum torque and power when you bolt on your ported blower.  Our tunes are designed to unleash the full potential of any Cobra or Lightning using a Stiegemeier ported supercharger.  Dyno Bob has put his engine air flow expertise to work and created a custom tune that actually helps his ported blowers boost up quicker and provide the max high end power.

*The prices listed above are for a single tune on 03' / 04' Cobra or late model Lightning with ported blowers. 

Custom tuning will only be done on site using our DynoJet chassis dyno.  This means we are no longer taking orders for mail order tunes except for 03'/04' Cobras and late model Lightning vehicles with a Stiegemeier ported blowers.

The Xcalibrator is limited to ODB-II equipped vehicles (EEC-V & PowerPC). It holds up to three custom programs plus the stock settings. Each Xcalibrator is VIN locked and can only be used on one vehicle at a time.

After reading your instructions and properly loading your tune, drive your car at a moderate pace taking notice of it’s behavior. We suggest a dyno run as soon as possible.

If minor adjustments are needed the Super Chips XTREME personal tuning software is available for free download from their web site, www.sctflash.com, and can be used to adjust the tuning files. These adjusted files can then be re-loaded into the Xcalibrator and then back into your car.

If more significant adjustments are required or you make modifications to your vehicle a new tuning file can be sent to you via e-mail. This new file can be opened with the XTREME personal tuning software and loaded into the Xcalibrator.

It is important to be aware of a few facts prior to ordering a custom tune remotely.

1) The greater the modifications, the greater the likely hood that the initial custom tune will not be completely adequate. It’s just a fact and if anyone promises otherwise beware.

2) Your car must not be throwing any unexpected trouble codes and must be in good working order. It is not a good idea to tune around mechanical issues and trying is a waste of time. It is important to have good O2 sensors, TPS, etc. If you have installed an aftermarket MAF it should be completely air tight and have no sharp edges in the internal duct work. Spark plugs should be gapped properly and not fouled. Blown cars are especially sensitive to over-wide plug gaps and fouling.

3) If you have installed an aftermarket blower or MAF we will not attempt a remote tune.

4) You are allowed one free tuning adjustment from us. All other tuning file adjustments will be billed at $49.00 per file.

5) For most custom tuning adjustments a dyno graph equipped with a wide band O2 sensor is required.
